Intro:
Artistic, full-motion fighting action spotlights various player characters against a stylish background with a rocking beat.  The opening invites players into exciting gameplay and shows players that there is at least one perfect character for them.  It makes you want to play, especially after giving you a taste of one of the 10 new fighters in the game.

Getting Going:
There are several modes to choose from:
Arcade (Single Player, but a Fight Request lets a second player join in)
Vs. (Choose your character and stage)
Network Battle (Online play)
Challenge (A series of challenges that helps the player learn fighter-specific moves)
Training

Visuals:
The backgrounds are dynamic featuring a moving, cheering crowd; hippos that move out of the water and toward the fighting stage and airplanes that taxi in the background.  The backgrounds become more animated between fights, giving the player a small reward in the form of a load screen.

Super Street Fighter IV is actually an enhanced version of Street Fighter IV which was previously reviewed as #17 on the DP Challenge.  The newer version features 10 additional fighters and new costumes for all of the existing fighters.  This means that existing fighters now have three costumes to choose from.  The new fighters still only have two to choose from.  In addition, each fighter now has two ultra combo moves to choose from.  The player does have to choose between these two power moves before the fight, however and does not have the option of using them interchangeably or on-the-fly.  Players can unlock taunts, car-crushing bonus rounds and barrel-breaking bonus rounds, effectively rounding out the play experience and providing a decent break in the action.
